Cafeteria or University Café – Göttingen cafeterias have been rated as Germany’s best several times. 14,400 meals are prepared every day at the six cafeterias and eight cafés belonging to the Studentenwerk. Affordable, healthy and diversified: about half of the students use the cafeterias every day.

Restaurants: many restaurants in Göttingen cater to students. You will find a relaxed atmosphere and good food at reasonable prices.

Self-cooking is not the worst alternative. And if you are tired of pasta with tomato sauce, you can find a few links to sites offering recipes and tips.
