welcome to the homepage of the International Student Services. On this homepage you will find important information about living and studying in Göttingen.

In order to study at University of Göttingen you have two options:

You can apply and enroll for a full time study at the University of Göttingen beginning with the first semester or you can study at the University of Göttingen as an exchange student. Therefore you need to be nominated officially by your home university and a bilateral agreement between your home university and the University of Göttingen has to be established. You may also study here as a short-term student if you have a scholarship by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) or by programs like e.g. Erasmus-Mundus Action II or Fulbright.
