Junior Research Groups at the University of Göttingen

Junior Research Groups are funded for 5 to 6 years by various funding organizations. A junior research group encompasses a head scientist, a post-doctoral fellow, 1-3 doctoral students and – if necessary – a technical assistant. Junior Research Groups are one possibility of qualifying a scientist for a professorship.
